It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Louise Satern of Silverton, Oregon, who passed away at the age of 98, on July 4, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Louise farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Louise is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John McDonald and Edith McDonald; her husband Marshall Satern; and her son Robert. She is survived by: her children, Dianne Sherwood (Reggie) of Salem and Michael Satern (Warren Leach) of Silverton. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Silverton, Oregon.
