He was predeceased by : his father Robert DeSantis; and his son Robert DeSantis III (Roxanne DeSantis). He is survived by : his mother Anne DeSantis; his sisters, Susan Dallas and Diane Hoge; his daughter Nelcha DeSantis; and his grandchildren, Heydin Anderson, Anna DeSantis, Caroline DeSantis and Brynlee Medford. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St Mary's Parish (575 E College St, Mt Angel, OR 97362).
