He is survived by: his wife Christy Koop Sander; his daughters, Natalie, Monica and Caitlin; his grandchildren, Aidan, Isaac, Xavier, William, Elisa and Sebastian; and his siblings, Louie, Leo, Ray, Bernie, Bob, Joan, Irene and Dot. He is also survived by eighteen nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in his name to Silverton Area Community Aid or the Father Bernard Youth Center in Mt. Angel, Oregon.
