He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Freeman and Barbara Freeman (Eckert); and his sisters, Patricia (Freeman) and Mielke (Steve) of Danville, Illinois.. He is survived by: his wife Judith Freeman (Guy) of Rensselaer, Indiana; his sons, Gerald M. Freeman (Annette) of Georgia and Douglas G. Freeman (Sarah); his grandson Owen Michael of Idaho; and his siblings, Deborah (Freeman), Kanger (Dave) of Tennessee, Glenda (Doney), Williams (Blake) of Florida and Richard Doney of Illinois.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lane Memorial Gardens (5300 W 11th Ave, Eugene, OR 97402).
