John will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He is survived by: his wife Lee Elliott; his children, John Elliott IV, Sheryl Martel, Lisa Elliott and David Elliott; and his grandsons, Trevor, Rylan, Luke and Kyle.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to The Very Little Theater in Eugene, Oregon.
