He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Gertrude Norwest (Norwest) and Everett Butler, Sr.; and his siblings, Marcella Faye Butler, Jesse Peone and Emerson Bob Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Teresa Ray Bumatay of Lummi, WA, Ronelle Stone of Portland, OR, Marcellus Ray Stone of Bend, OR and Marcello Riley Martell; and his sister Everetta Butler of Siletz, OR. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
