Sherrie Kay Freund
April 29th, 1965- January 11th, 2025 (59 years old)

Sherrie was a spitfire who was giving to many and enjoyed meeting and talking with people. She loved being the life of the party. She was tough and independent and endured her disabilities and birth defects with pride and resilience. She leaves behind one daughter and two beloved grandsons: Jasper (9) and Quinn (7). At her time of death she was record holder for the World's Shortest Grandmother at 36 inches tall.

As per her wishes, her remains will be laid to rest at the same place as her mother's in Chetzemoka Park in Port Townsend, Washington.

“I was one or Sherrie's teachers at Covington Jr. High in Vancouver, WA. I had some "favorites" while there but beyond most of the other wonderful kids I had Sherrie was/is still in my memories and heart. I could tell stories of her bravery, wisdom and friendships as she a very talented and joyful person. With her, everything was important and her bravery amazing. More than my student, Sherrie made sure I was fair and that her fellow students were just, as she was. I miss her.”
