He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Owen "Frank" McGuigan and Eleanor Lena Koob McGuigan; his siblings, Elisabeth Lucielle "Betty" Halbrook, Robert F. "Bob" McGuigan, Deloris Ann Martin and Donna Jean Berringer; and his pets, Misty, Maggie and Mariah.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Frances Svymbersky of Lady's Cathedral; his children, Sherryl Bailey (Kyle) of Roseburg, OR, James Donald (Don), Phil McGuigan (Shannon) of Eugene, OR and Theresa Jones (Chris) of Milwaukie, OR; and his cherished labradoodle Murphy. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill's honor may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Eugene, Oregon, the American Heart Association, or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. The family has chosen to send donations to Alzheimer's AssociationDonate Now (https://act.alz.org).
