It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Sekiya (Stayton, Oregon), born in Mesa, Arizona, who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kentaro Sekiya and Virginia Gutierrez Fuentes; and his daughter Donna Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Sekiya; his daughter Danelle Sekiya; his grandchildren, Sequoia Hanson, Zachary Hanson, Sheri Bloom, Rushana Sekiya, Gagge Savage, Laura Hanson, Gabriel Philips, Ethan Berndt and Logun Berndt; and his siblings, Sabro Sekiya and Kimi Sekiya.
