David Sekiya Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Sekiya (Stayton, Oregon), born in Mesa, Arizona, who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kentaro Sekiya and Virginia Gutierrez Fuentes; and his daughter Donna Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Sekiya; his daughter Danelle Sekiya; his grandchildren, Sequoia Hanson, Zachary Hanson, Sheri Bloom, Rushana Sekiya, Gagge Savage, Laura Hanson, Gabriel Philips, Ethan Berndt and Logun Berndt; and his siblings, Sabro Sekiya and Kimi Sekiya.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at 41010 Stayton Scio Rd, Stayton, OR 97383. The military honors will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
