The memory of Sammie Burgess Rodden (Stayton, Oregon), who passed away on November 23, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband William E.; and her siblings, Denwell Burgess, Blanche Bullock and Barbara Russell. She is survived by: her daughter Tara Rodden Robinson; her son-in-law Douglas Robinson; and her sisters, Dorothy Rodden, Katie Deen and Derona Mahan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Louisiana Ornithological Society.
