With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dixie Lee (Renne) Maddox of Sweet Home, Oregon, who passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Dixie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dixie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, June Renne (Lancaster) and Lawrence Renne; her son Daniel L. Rinehart; her husband Warren Maddox; her son Gerald; and her siblings, Marvin Renne and Darlene Hendrickson.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy G. Bonham of Eugene; her stepdaughter Florence Gonzalez; and her siblings, Janice Heffner of Bend and Dennis Renne of Idaho. She is also survived by four grandchildren, two step grandchildren.
