He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Lee (Stubbs) and Thomas Harry Brendle; his son Michael James Brendle; and his siblings, Barbara, William (Bill) and James (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Brendle of Sweet Home; and his children, Robert L. Brendle, Jr. (Katherine) of Portland, Ken Leyson (Leisha) and Carrie Weninger of Federal Way. He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
