It is with sadness that the passing of James Johnson (The Dalles, Oregon) is shared. James, born on June 8, 1928, passed away on June 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Q Johnson and Grace I Johnson (Read); his wife Marni (Marion Galla) of Roseburg; and his son Steven. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Johnson-Dorn, Kim Lindsey (Merle), Stacy Martinez (Larry), Teri Bauman (Frank) and Jason Johnson (Beth); his grandchildren, Nicholas Martinez, Carmen Martinez, Brett Lindsey, Marcus Lindsey, Taylor Johnson (Jace), Jake Bauman, Gabriella Bauman, Bailee Johnson and Jack Johnson (Riley); and his great grandchildren, Mila Martinez and Trey Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Marni Johnson Memorial Scholarship at Columbia Gorge Community College or Shriners Children's Hospital, Portland, Oregon.
