He is survived by: his wife Debra Fowler; his daughters, Kristyn Sherman (Mark Sherman) and Heather Schulz (Joseph Schulz); his grandchildren, Landon Sherman, Logan Sherman, Hailey Broughton and Carter Broughton; and his brother Robert Fowler (Peggy Fowler). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to The Dougy Center.
