She was predeceased by: her parents, Axel Karl Jensen and Dagmar Lydia Margreta Jensen (Greta); her husband Lawrence Hightower Jr.; her sons, Lawrence Randolph Hightower (Randy) and Ronald Keith Hightower; and her sister Tove Farrara.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda J. Hart and Sharon L. Armstrong; and her children-in-law, Tom Armstrong and Sara Jane Hightower. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 14 Great/Great-great grandchildren.
