He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sunding and Alvina Sunding (Voight); his wife Linda Tompkins; and his siblings, Loren Sunding, John Sunding and Joyce Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Palmer (Kevin) of Trail, OR, Dixie Hall (Jon) of Trail, OR and Melanie Klock (Leon) of Chancellor, SD.; and his grandchildren, Heather Avila (Fernando), Matt Hall (Rebecca), Mark Hall (Michelle), Bailey Hall, Allyson Gaughan (Ben) and Brady Klock. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
