Betty Marlene Thompson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2025, at the age of 84, Betty Marlene Thompson of Wallowa, Oregon, born in Pendleton, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Correa and Arlene Correa; her brothers, Bill and Johnny E. Correa; her husband Jim Thompson; and her granddaughter Riley Doherty.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martie Correa (Chuck) of Juneau, Alaska, Teri Doherty (Raymond) of Pilot Rock, Oregon, Vickie Kenny (Jim) of Pendleton, Oregon, Jimmie Kay Thorne (Ted) of Wallowa, Oregon and Peggy Tarvin of Hermiston, Oregon.; her siblings, Bob Correa (Vicky) of Pendleton and Peggy Hays (Mitch) of Butter Creek, Oregon.; and her cousin Mable Hamann of Cove, Oregon. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church (1101 Fourth St, La Grande, OR 97850).
