We bid farewell to Shirley Wait of Weston, Oregon, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 21, 2025 at the age of 89. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Kirk and Jean Kirk (Rayborn); her daughter Paula Jo Soben Randall; her granddaughter Erica Newbold; her great grandchild Michael C. Newbold; and her siblings, Sharon Foster, Sheldon Kirk, Karen Anderson and Linda Cummings.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Wait; her children, Cindy Epifanio (Roberto) and Curtis Newbold (Donita); and her sister JoAnn King. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Weston Cemetery (78840 Weston Cemetery Rd, Weston, OR 97886).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jean Kirk Memorial Scholarship Fund at the First Community Credit Union in Milton Freewater, Or.
