Dorothy Marie Schattenkerk Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Schattenkerk of Winston, Oregon, who passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Rathkey and Amy Gladys Rathkey (Watts) of Tenmile, Oregon.; her husband Ted Schattenkerk; and her brothers, Dr. Arthur Rathkey and Eldred Rathkey.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Gutmann (Bob) of North Plains, Oregon, Ed Schattenkerk (Della) of Tenmile, Oregon, Henry Schattenkerk of Vancouver, Washington and Amy Sutten-Schattenkerk (Ron) of Brockway, Oregon; her grandchildren, Mike Schattenkerk (Tia) of Tenmile, Oregon, Teresa Burcher (Patrick) of Cottage Grove, Oregon and April of Brockway, Oregon; her great grandchildren, Abilgaile Parker (Schattenkerk), Emma Lill, Ellie Burcher and Liam Davis; and her sister-in-law Dolores Schattenkerk. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
