He was predeceased by: his parents, Gill Nordling and Bernice Nordling (Olsen); his sister Gayle Moore; and his great grandchild Bethany Peden (Jeff Peden). He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Nordling; his sisters, Ada Marie Haake (Harold) and Joy Troutman; and his daughters, Karen McCowan (Joel), Kristy Leighty (Jeff), Kelly Peden and Kay Passmore (Mark). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The COVID-19 pandemic was a very difficult period for Paul and Eleanor.
