The family announces the passing of Joy Ellen Brown (Yamhill, Oregon) on September 27, 2026. Joy, born on February 10, 1936, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Phillips and Joy Phillips; her husband Don Brown; and her stepdaughter Theresa Brougher. She is survived by: her friends, Don and Joy; her daughter Janet Bodeen (Perry); her stepchildren, Neil Brown, Susan Brown, Carolyn Moyer (Rick), Linda Drew (Randall) and Deanne Clayton (Otis); and her sister Marilyn Cook (Dick). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Yamhill United Methodist Church (195 S Laurel St, Yamhill, OR 97148).
