With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Naomi Hope Cox of Yoncalla, Oregon, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Naomi may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her sister Patty Sondeno (Glen Cox); and her children, Teresa Haley, Douglas and Dwayne Perini. She is survived by: her siblings, Jim Vian of Montana and Joy Gordon of Cottage Grove; and her daughter Cindy Bettencourt (Joe Bettencourt) of Yoncalla. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
