She was predeceased by: her parents, Elva Bosely Ward and William Archer Hess; her husband Charles Sherman; and her siblings, William A Hess Jr. and Candy Lee Hess.
She is survived by: her children, Jody Brown (Steve) of Perrin, Amy and Travis Sherman (Chris) of Wellsville; her grandsons, Chasen Brown (Kate) and Camden Brown (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Forrest, Layne and Blakely Brown; her siblings, Michael Hess (Rox), Richard Hess, Barbara and Jackie Hess; her friends, Pat, Helen and Judy; and her pet Missy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Biglerville Fire Company, Heidlersburg Fire Company or the Adams County SPCA.
