Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Robert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Emig and Phyllis Emig; and his brother Jed Emig. He is survived by: his wife Debora; and his siblings, Barbara Pauley and Todd Emig. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (100 East Water St, Abbottstown, PA 17301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. John's Touch of Grace Fund, in honor of Bob's generosity and commitment to helping others.
