He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Gilbert and Ethel Gilbert (Markle); his brother Barry Gilbert; and his nephew Justin Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie L. Gilbert (Kreeger); his brothers, David Gilbert (Vickie) of Gettysburg, PA and Samuel Gilbert (Diane) of Wellsboro, PA; his sister-in-law Linda Gilbert; his nieces and nephews, Greg Gilbert, Melissa Gilbert, Chris Gilbert and Ryan Gilbert; his stepnephews, Bradley Brewer and Dustin Brewer; and his uncle Archie Markle. He is also survived by 14 great-nieces and great-nephews.
