He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. and Mary A McParland; his wife Brigid McParland; and his brothers, James McParland and Edward McParland.
He is survived by: his children, John McParland (Helen), Bernadette Evertsz (Michael), Brigetta Sparacio (Salvatore), Brenda McKenzie (Kenneth) and BethAnne Gallagher (Paul); and his siblings, Mary McParland, Kathleen Eckert (Edward), Margaret McHugh (James), Patricia Halferty (Paul) and Thomas McParland (Cathy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of Peace Church (820 N Hills Ave, Glenside, PA 19038).
