She is survived by: her grandson McWelling Hanson Todman (Samara); her sons-in-law, Marc Springer and McWelling Todman; and her stepchildren, Michele Root-Bernstein, Peter Root, Valerie Root Wolpe, Allan Root and Jonathan Root.
