He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Wakeman and Esther Wakeman (Bartlett); his sister Harriet Neale; and his wife Ruth Wakeman (Pickering). He is survived by: his sons, Gene and Rollin. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
