He is survived by : his wife Barbara Rozell Kalp; his children, Paul Richard Kalp (Tammy) of Dover and Susan M. Palmer (Tim) of Nashville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew and Katie Kalp; and his sisters, Ava Siesky of Mount Pleasant and Dorothy Baughman of Louisa, Virginia..
