She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Gere and Eleanor Gere (Pesta). She is survived by: her husband Rick Kansy; her brothers, Charles Gere (Ann) and Marty Gere (Suzi); and her daughters, Jennifer (Dennis Yochim) and Angie (Keith Kiedaisch).
