With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jane Bennett of Albion, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mary Jane farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Jane is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron Beery and Margaret Beery (Davis); and her brother Gene Beery. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Bennett; her children, Debbie Bennett-Fuller (Ken) of Albion, Carol Johnson (Jeff) of Lake City, Kevin Bennett (Carrie) of Corry and Kim Garlick (Brian) of Union City; and her siblings, Richard Beery (Millie) of Albion and Ruth Ann Lee of Conneaut, OH.. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mattera Funeral Home (188 E State St, Albion, PA 16401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM.
