He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Hobert and Mary Hobert (Reichert); and his sister Joyce Shantz. He is survived by : his wife Marguerite; his stepson Dean Hobert; his children, Judy Bleiler and Neal Hobert; and his grandchildren, Franklin, Jeremy, Shanda, Shane and Kasey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Olivia & Alaynas Pillow Case Project (32).
