George Newcomb Jr. Obituary
In loving memory of George Newcomb Jr. of Alburtis, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on July 26, 2025 at the age of 84. George leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Newcomb and Minnie Newcomb (Teufel); his nephew Ron; and his cousin Jane (Rich). He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Wardlow); his children, George A. (Holly) of Glencoe, IL and Kristin Lutz (Jeremy) of Oley, PA.; his grandsons, Benjamin, Matthew, Joshua and Nathaniel; his siblings, Jane Beebe (Ron) and Jim (Cyndy); his siblings' children, Greg, Gayle, Jamie and Alyson; and his children, Rich and Lisa. He is also survived by his extended family continued to grow with five great-nephews and two great-nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Life Bible Fellowship Church (2960 W Philadelphia Ave, Oley, PA 19547). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In retirement, he worked for Bruce Derr, CPA, during tax season and volunteered as a tax preparer with AARP Foundation Tax-Aide.
