It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole L. (Myers) Smith of Alexandria, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald W. Myers and Beulah M. Myers; her close friend Bernard Kyper; her son Robert Scott; and her sisters, Mary Markley, Donna Miller, Patricia Saint Amour and Nancy.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Smith, Uldis Kaktins, Jeanne Peterson (Rod) of Alexandria, PA, Perry Smith (Beth) of Alexandria, PA, Sidney Smith (Shari) of Melbourne, FL and Ned Smith (Kathleen) of York, PA.; her brother Donald W. Myers (Barbara) of Plano, TX; her grandchildren, Mara Kaktins (Joseph Blondino), Kaija Bretzius (Bryan), Drew Peterson, Jake Peterson (Mackenzie), Jerrod Smith (Ellice), Janelle Cohn (Stephen), Stacey Berry, David Hetrick, Alan Smith and Kayla Smith; and her great grandchildren, Uldi Blondino-Kaktins, Barrett, Levi, Joshua, Sarah Bretzius, Colton, Finnley Smith, Camille and Louie Cohn.
