It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Shoemaker of Alexandria, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence William and Mary Charlotte Shoemaker (Hoffer); his brother Leroy H. Hoffer; his niece Darlene Harkleroad Hoffer; his nephews, Christopher Heaton and Dwayne Grove; and his brother-in-law Ronald Heaton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara E. Heaton, Lawrence "Bill" W. Shoemaker (Louise) and Mary C. Donaldson (Ron); his nieces and nephews, Judy Dibble (Edward), Carla Heaton, J. Sean Heaton (Lori), Sonya Grove, Alexandria, William Shoemaker, Brian Shoemaker and Cody Donaldson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Haleigh Truchok (Tom), Kodiak Heaton (Kaylene), Brook Grove and Alex Heaton.
Interment will take place in Donation Cemetery, Huntingdon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Charles Shoemaker to the Skills of Central Pa.
