He was predeceased by: his parents, Flaviano DiDonato and Maria DiDonato; and his siblings, Antionette Rich, Aldino DiDonato, Ann Belsky and Mafalda Gisondi.
He is survived by: his wife Bridget; his sons, Arthur Joseph DiDonato Jr. (Adrianne) of Hampton, Kenneth Alan DiDonato (Lynne) of Mt. Lebanon and Robert Joseph DiDonato (Lisa) of Wexford; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Anne, Arthur "AJ" Joseph III (Arthur Jr), Toria Michele, Kenneth Ryker Rivior (Kenneth), Emily Ryan and Amber Evelyn (Robert).
