He is survived by: his parents, Lila Ann (Welsh) and Ray Eakles Jr. Chris; his children, Harley Eakles (Derek Scott), Skylar Eakles and Logan Eakles; his brother Ray Newton Eakles III (Maria Brown); his grandchildren, Analeia Smith and Windham Scott; his stepsiblings, Cassandra Green, Kimberly Dawn Baxter and Brandon Green; his nieces, Madison Rae Eakles, Lila Eileen Eakles, Lacey Brown and Trinity Gourley; his uncle Anthony Wayne Welsh; and his friend Tim Bradley. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
