He was predeceased by: his parents, Corinda Love and Walter Love Sr.; his brothers, Raymond Smaugh and John Love; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Bartley.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Love; his daughter Dorothy Love; his granddaughter Brianna Preyear (Reggie); and his nephew Steven Love (Mame'Yaa). He is also survived by God-children; and a host of extended family, church family, coworkers, neighbors, and dear friends.
