He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kozel and Katherine Kozel; and his brother John "Jack" Kozel. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kozel; his daughters, Lauren Baker (Dan) and Stephanie Kozel; his grandchildren, Lucas and Cora Baker; his father-in-law Julian (Margaret Bobrowski); his brothers-in-law, John Bobrowski (Lisa) and Michael Bobrowski (Candace); and his close friend Mike Pauvlinch.
