She was predeceased by: her parents, Hector Pettis and Mary Williams Pettis; her siblings, Dr. Samuel Pettis Sr., Curtis Pettis Sr. and Minnie Woods; her nephews, Brent Woods and Simeon Pettis; and also Jan Anderson.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Mary Staples, Phyllis Woods, Roderick Pettis, Samuel Pettis Jr. (Rey), Dell Woods (Tujuana), Curtis Pettis Jr. (Vicki), Bryant Woods (Patricia), Jonathan Pettis (Angela), Vastine "Winkie" Pettis (Apple), Lydia Pettis and L'Tesha Pettis (late Simeon). She is also survived by godchildren, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Church (2816 Brodhead Rd, Aliquippa, PA 15001). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
