With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jethro David McCoy Jr. of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2026 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louise McCoy and Jethro D. McCoy Sr.; and his aunts and uncles, Edgar, Robert "Bobby" Nash, Dorothy Coleman and Margaret Priest.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Jackson of Bellview, PA and Ayanna McCoy of Pittsburgh, PA; his sisters, Marilyn Cobb (Marlon) of Pittsburgh, PA, Amanda Stokes and Hopewell Twp; his nieces and nephews, Dr. Sylvester "Trey" Carlo III (Margo) of Atlanta, GA, Tawon Turner (Edward) of Bowie, MD and Idris "Macco" (Laila); his grandsons, Brian Wilson (Carime) of Monaca, PA and Brion Wilson of Aliquippa, PA; and his friends, Rev. Ezra "Monty" Lowe and Jay Fields. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. great nieces and nephews.
