He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Doby and Maude Doby; his siblings, John, Davis, Townsell "Tbaby" Thomas, Mattie Rose Mack and Henrietta Doby-Freeman (Florence Doby); his son Corneilius Dwight Doby; and his great grandchild Tornor Doby.
He is survived by: his children, Raleigh Doby, Jr. (Linda) of Hartford, CT, Erick Doby of Philadelphia, PA., Yevett Adamson (Robert) of Aliquippa, PA and Karen Haynes of Aliquippa, PA; his daughter-in-law Sarah Mack Lawson-Doby; and his close friends, Cynthia Newsome, John Fields, Sr. and Juanita Crosby. He is also survived by Six great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
