He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Joseph and Rose Veronica Yanko (Barno); his wife Virginia "Betty" Yanko (Maly); his daughter Janice Yanko Mayes; and his grandson Gary Patrick Napolitan.

He is survived by: his children, Raymond Yanko (Debra), Brian Yanko (Catherine), Joanne McCracken (Harley), Karen Langton (Tom) and Mary Ann Napolitan (Gary); and his brother Albert Yanko (Mary Ellen Buchanan). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
