Sylvia Rae Edenfield Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2025, at the age of 89, Sylvia Rae Edenfield (Aliquippa, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Morrison and Kenneth Morrison; her former husband Morris Michael Hoover; her husband Walter Edenfield; her grandson Sean Snyder; and her siblings, Kenneth Morrison Jr. and Joan Kephart.
She is survived by: her children, Tamera Scheers (Michael), Michael Hoover (Terri) and Leianne Vigna (Vito); her grandchildren, Justin Hoover, Shane Hoover, Chad Hoover, Lena Pitzer, Shannon Stojan, Frank Bullock Jr., David Kozak, Jordan Snyder, Kolton Vigna and Preston Vigna; her sister Linda Heinlein (Edward); and her niece Tricia Slugo Sebastian. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa (2345 Mill St, Aliquippa, PA 15001). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer Association in Sylvia's memory.
