We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2024, at the age of 94, John W. Koleny of Allegheny, Pennsylvania, born in Springdale, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Koleny and Justine Koleny (Mysko); his wife Joanne D. Koleny (Day); and his siblings, Michael Kostie, Charles Kostie, Anna J. Kostie and Mary Louise Phillips.

He is survived by : his sons, John C. Koleny (Elise) of Lexington Park, MD, James K. Koleny (Mary Ann) of Gilpin Township and Jeffrey J. Koleny (Mary Anne) of Gilpin Township; his grandchildren, Lindsay Sprankle (Doug), Justin, Allison, J. Michael Koleny, Margaret "Maggie", Matthew Banichar and Eric Murray (Kim); and his great grandchildren, Ava Powell, Taedem, Azlynn Banichar, Rowan Murray and Duke Sprankle.
