Richard Jones Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Richard Jones of Allegheny, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on May 19, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David William and Novella Jones; his wife Ruth C. Jones; and his siblings, Phyllis Gelbman and Robert Jones.

He is survived by: his sons, Richard W. "Rick" Jones (Pearl) and Randall S. "Randy" Jones of Allegheny Twp; his grandsons, William Richard Jones (Kate) and Kevin Andrew Jones (Ventana); his great grandchild Noah H. Jones; and his sister Peggy Vrundey of Newton Falls, OH. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lower Burrell Funeral Home (3124 Leechburg Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harvest Baptist Church (224 Harvest Lane, Natrona Heights, PA 15065).

The family suggests donations be made to the Harvest Baptist Church Building Fund.
