He was predeceased by : his parents, James Clinton Kitchen and Patricia Swartz. He is survived by : his brother James Swartz (Christina) of Lacey, Washington; and his half-siblings, Pamela Goldstein and Theodore Kitchen. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home (601 Weldon St, Latrobe, PA 15650). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
