He was predeceased by: his parent Pu Ta Lae; his sister Naw Bae Ta; and his wife Baw Tay. He is survived by: his children, Blay Paw (Yar Kaw), Tah Eh and Hso Gay; and his grandchildren, Eh Yar (Ehkler Moo), Ester Ya Kaw, Elle Yar Kaw, Ezeri Yah, Doh Nay Kaw and Hser Gay Tue Kaw. He is also survived by three great-grandsons, and many nieces and nephews.
