He was predeceased by : his parents, Irwin F. Diehl and Elsie M. Diehl (Masonheimer); and his sisters, Fern C. Diehl, Doris J. Moyer, Lorraine R. Berta, Shirley F. Diehl, Jean L. Boyer, Mae E Fehnel and Marjorie Diehl. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
