It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores E. Smolick of Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Marchetto and Emily Marchetto (Schaffer); her husband Alfred; her daughter Cynthia; and her brother Robert Marchetto.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah Garger (John), Alana Silfies, Michael Smolick (Judith) and Robin Nickischer. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 4 nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reichel Funeral Home (326 E 21st St, Northampton, PA 18067). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Cedar Hill Memorial Park (1700 Airport Rd, Allentown, PA 18109).
